County Social Services provides financial support for mental health and disability services programs to individuals in North Central and Northeastern Iowa. The CSS Region serves the counties of Allamakee, Black Hawk, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Clayton, Chickasaw, Emmet, Fayette, Floyd, Grundy, Hancock, Howard, Humboldt, Mitchell, Pocahontas, Tama, Webster, Winnebago, Worth, Winneshiek, & Wright Counties.

Northeast Iowa Community Action

Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) serves low-income individuals and families in the counties of: Allamakee, Bremer, Chickasaw, Clayton, Fayette, Howard and Winneshiek in northeast Iowa.

NEICAC operates a large variety of programs through its seven county service area. Some, but not all, of these programs are: Early Childhood Education (Head Start & Early Head Start), Housing, Family Services, EARL Public Transit, and Energy Assistance.

Iowa Northland Regional Housing Authority

Iowa Northland Regional Housing Authority provides housing assistance to low income residents through the management of the Housing Choice Voucher Program – Section 8. This program is income based and the eligibility guidelines are set by HUD.

Regional Transit (RTC)

The Iowa Northland Regional Transit Commission (RTC) provides transit services within the INRCOG region. All services are open to the general public, including persons with disabilities. In addition to providing transit, RTC is responsible for coordinating transportation in the region.
