The Larrabee Center, Inc. operates a thrift store called Trinkets & Togs.  Our store  is located at 114 10^th Street SW, Waverly, IA 50677.  

The store is open every day except Sundays (and Holidays).  We open for shopping at 9:00 a.m.!  We close at 7:00 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesday, Wednesdays, and Fridays.  The store stays open extra late on Thursdays, closing at 8:00 p.m.  On Saturdays, the store closes at 6:00 p.m.  We look forward to seeing you!

At Trinkets & Togs, we offer a wide variety of items for purchase at very moderate prices.  We receive quality donations of goods which are then prepared for purchase.  Items are cleaned as needed, sorted for size, and neatly presented.  You’ll find everything from designer clothing to toys to books to jewelry!

We also stock a variety of items for your home including: kitchen utensils, small electronics, home décor, holiday items, and craft items.  The Waverly location also sells furniture, including sofas, chairs, kitchen tables, and end tables.  Items change daily and specials occur frequently, so stop in often!  One of our favorite sales is the “Bag Sale”.  In the Bag Sale, you get to fill up a bag with clothing for $5.00! 

Trinkets & Togs accepts donations at our large donation area located on the back side of Trinkets & Togs (west side of the building).  Donations are accepted during regular store hours.  Trinkets & Togs accepts donations in good condition.  However, we are unable to accept donations of items such as chemicals or paints, large appliances, mattresses, or automobile parts.

Tax receipts are available for those making donations.  Just ask a staff member at the donation area for a tax receipt, and they will be happy to assist you.

Clothing or fabric donations we are not able to sell may be cut into rags.  These are then sold to the public or area businesses.  Other clothing may be recycled.  It is baled and delivered to Third World Countries.  We try to repurpose or recycle as many donations as we can!
